Normally, an infected human body does not contain more than 15 live mites regardless if the bumps are present in most areas of the body. Scabies in very young children are often located on the head, face, neck, palms, and soles of the feet in infants and very young children but uncommon in adults and older children.

Scabies can easily spread so it’s an advantage if individuals can easily identify scabies symptoms

to prevent infection from spreading. As soon as symptoms of scabies are visible, it would be wise to promptly seek medical attention.

There are also alternative remedies for scabies considered safe for young children. A scabies epidemic can be managed as long as people understand how infection spreads and ways of controlling
